Unfortunately, you cannot stack two TL891 libraries without additional hardware.

You would require an expansion unit and a pass-through mechanism for this configuration, both of which are no longer available to resellers as far as I am aware.

Janine

I am hoping to link 2 libraries together with SCSI. Currently they are live, one with SCSI to Tape Controller and then Fibre to switch. The other with SCSI direct to Back Up Server.
I want to drop the Fibre , can I have SCSI Daisy chained from Server to Library to Library ?

Hi,
It is perhaps possible if there is no adress conflicts but you may get performance problem with multiple tape devices on the same SCSI-bus.

Hi,

Please e-mail me at peter@tdsys.com. We have bridge products that will enable the connections you want to make. A diagram (Visio, ppt, etc.) of what you have now and what you want will help.

Peter Brewster
