I have a problem.
I have 2 nodes ( tried with HP DL 380,HP DL 580 & HP DL 585 ) & SAN ( tried EVA4000, MSA1000 & EMC). FCA is QLogic 2300. OS is Windows 2003 server with SP1.
When I created partition on the first node, I can't see the partition on the second node after "rescan" disk command from Disk Management Console.
If I restart the second node or disconnect fiber channel on the secnod node, I can see the partiton.
I tried both RAW and NTFS partition.

It is working OK on Windows 2000 Server.

It is not working OK!!

A plain windows server does not have a shared file system implementation. When the second node mounts the disk while the first one still has access, it will start corrupting the file system.

What you need is extra software that implements this functionality (MSCS does not, btw).

There is cluster and Oracle extend RAW partition if need disk space. The second node must restart or disconnect and connect again fiber channel to see extended partition.
How to see extended partition online on the second node?
