What SCSI cable do I need?

Hi there,

I've got a PA-RISC machine with "SCSI (Single Ended) (8/) 16/5" slot

and

a diskcabinet (NetServer Storage System/6 productnumber: D3604-60201/D3604B) with two SCSI slots, but there's no info on the back about what kind of SCSI slots they are.

What SCSI cable do I need to connect the diskcabinet to the server?

Hi,

I would suggest to do a web search using this:

"NetServer Storage System" ss6-datasheet

This will hopefully give you the datasheet - the interface is FW SCSI and this is not compatible to SE-SCSI.

Anyway, the whole box is not compatible to your HP-UX server.

are sure they actually are compatible ?

My first hit whilst looking for the spec identified the box as Fast and Wide SCSI-2 system.
