<title>topic File System Extender - FSE in General</title>
    <link>https://community.hpe.com/t5/general/file-system-extender-fse/m-p/4193431#M3615</link>
<description>Who has some experience with FSE?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;We have some issues regarding the migrating of CAB files from the performance disk to disk and tape. In the error.log we receive errors like "hsm_syserror: (3. The system cannot find the path specified.) GetFileAttributes(d:\20\Collection33348.CAB), what is correct, because it resides on "d:\FSE\mdwmail02 Ptn01\CB6638DE1173164DBF56AF9A84FEFC93\2006\08\20\Collection33348.CAB". If i run fsecheck hsm_hsmfs PartitionName i receive 3600 suspicous files. 1 week ago this was much much more and ran fsefile --migrate with all the files what resolved a lot but still receiving new suspicous files with the result that the performance disk becomes full. I've expanded the disk two times with 50 GB and have now 40 GB free space. We have disabled the virusScan and backup application on advice of HP FSE support because of the traversing of the files but without success. We using FSE in combination with Enterprise Vault.</description>
