    <description>You make no mention of whether the system is an HP9000 or an HP3000. The HP9000 answer you have received is good. If you have an HP3000 the procedures is as follows:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;For every private volume *except* MPEXL_SYSTEM_VOLUME_SET do the following&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;1. VSCLOSE volumename&lt;BR /&gt;2. VOLUTIL&lt;BR /&gt;   volutil: SCRATCHVOL ldev&lt;BR /&gt;   repeat for each drive&lt;BR /&gt;3. For the system volume set&lt;BR /&gt;    PURGEACCT accountname&lt;BR /&gt;    for each account on the system volume set&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>We are returniing a system to HP from a lease and need to "scrub" (remove all data traces) the disk to prevent unauthorized access to the sensitive data. Does any one have a procedure/program to facilitate the process?&lt;BR /&gt;thanks,&lt;BR /&gt;Tommy</description>
