topic Most Reliable and Secure Cloud Storage Service? in General

Hello. I used to use Dropbox, but I heard that their security policy is much more lax than I was led to believe. Apparently their employees have basically unlimited access to your files.

The issue is that I'm a lawyer, and so I have an obligation to keep client files confidential. I'm not confident that Dropbox can meet my needs, so does anyone know of a similar cloud service that takes privacy seriously? I heard CloudBacko was good, but I wanted some suggestions.

Thanks!

Hey Kelvin -

I would look into Microsoft Office 365. We have several customers that utilize this, including ourselves.

As with anything that concerns regulations and making representations; I'll have to leave that up to you :)

Here is a good place to start your evaluation:

http://blogs.technet.com/b/microsoft_in_education/archive/2011/12/16/office-365-becomes-first-and-only-major-cloud-service-to-meet-the-rigors-of-u-s-standards-for-data-protection-and-security.aspx

A very large number if not the majority of our Law Firm clients utilize Office 365.
