ML30 with Smart Array E208i-p Controller

Hi

I have a ML30 and a E208i controller. Currently in the server the hard drive bay has a cable from port 1 to the motherboard. I now have a cable to to go from either port 1 or 2 or the E208i. Do I connect this to port 2 on the back of the hard drive bay or remove the lead that’s currently in port 1?

I’m used to working with ML350 so not had to do the previously

Need to connect SAS cables from both the port on E208i-P controller to the Hard drive back plane .
