Update DL380 G10 server via USB Key Utility (SPP)

I want to upgrade 6 DL380 G10 to SPP 2021.5. Bootable usb create successfully with USB key utility from ISO inside and i can boot with it.but when I select either auto or interactive from menu it goes to a black page with a fixed dash on left and freeze.

Any kind of help is highly appreciated

Did you try with virtual media?

Thanks to your answer. Yes but it didnot works. I gues it has a problem but i donot know what is it. It even enter F10 but when I select one of options just enter a freezed black screen. but I upgrade other server with virtual media with no problem

> BIOS Firmware version

> IP Version

Also try updating the above three and try running SPP.

I successfully mount spp 2021.5 to 5 out of 6 my G10 server via ILO and update them . but i donot know how can I update

iLO Firmware version

> BIOS Firmware version

> IP Version

sepratly. SPP 2021.5 is about 9 GB. what does it do ? what is updated with it?

do i need to update my intelegent provisioning or other part of server sepratly?

why in updated servers system rom version is U30 v2.42 and shows date (01/23/2021)? i think it must be 5.x.2021. because the SPP is 2021.5

Just boot from SPP, select interactive mode and let it run.

It shpuld update everything that need an update.

You can follow the below :

1) Copy the ISO on shared folder

2) iLO GUI > Virtual Media > Select the ISO

3) Restart the Server and go to "One Time Boot Menu" (Press F11 during boot)

4) Now Server will boot from SPP ISO.

5) Select Automatic / Interactive and follow onscreen instructions.

If you select Automatic : all Components will get updated.

If you select Interactive : You will get a list of Components, you can choose and then apply Firmwares on only those you have selected.

6) Once its successfully completes, let the Server boot.
