Has anyone ever successfully updated the power management module via ILO4?

All I have ever had from muliple attempts on various Gen8 platforms is the message "The last firmware update attempp was unsuccessful. ready for the next update"

I have never been able to update using a .HEX file via ILO4 even with the latest v2.78..

Would like to know if ILO4 even supports this despite HP's claims.
