@ksram Did anyone find an answer to this?

I have exactally the same problem as kw75

I downgraded the BIOS from P92 v3.30 (09/21/2023) to P92 v2.42 (04/25/2017)

Flashed the SPS with cp029724.exe 'Intel Xeon Processor Xeon E5-2600 V4 Software Upgrade Online Flash component for Win64- HPE ProLiant Gen9 servers' (Version: 3.1.3.021.0). It completed without issue.

And now everyime I boot I am presented with following message:

I have followed RamKS instructions to the letter and cleared the NVRAM and I am still having this issue.

Is there an older or newer SPS firmware available that I can try?

I have done this procedure previous on a HP ML-350 Gen 9 system PCB P/N 743996-003 and had no problems but when attempted on a HP ML-350 Gen 9 System PCB P/N 743996-004 I ran into this issue.

Are you requesting that I pay the excessive support costs for a system that HP no longer supports to repair a fault that HP created with an HP sanctioned firmware for the G9 ML-350?

Not the best reply, seeing that multiple people are still affected and are even today, still raising the issue with this problem that has obviously been created when a v4 System Board is flashed with this firmware - a firmware which should have deteted the v4 System Board and warned this before the flash process and refused to flash with a warning message stating 'This firmware is not designed for this System'.

HP created this problem and should have issued an immediate firmware update to correct it!!

Other posts with the same problem which have recent updates with the same issue:

Solved: Re: HPe Dl380 Gen9 SPS Update Requied - Hewlett Packard Enterprise Community
