server load testing does not increase the fan speed before the processor reaches the maximum temperature. When the maximum allowable temperature of the processor is reached, the system cooling does not cool below this temperature.

cpu temperature data is different in linux and ilo system.

Hi,

I see that your server is at the newest BIOS available.

See if these articles help you solve the issue:
https://support.hpe.com/hpesc/public/docDisplay?docId=emr_na-c04054419
https://support.hpe.com/hpesc/public/docDisplay?docId=c04218999

Here is a long community thread which discusses this issue:
https://community.hpe.com/t5/ProLiant-Servers-ML-DL-SL/DL320e-Gen8-v2-fan-noise/td-p/6170511

Thanks

sorry for my English, maybe I'm not speaking clearly, but my problem is not with noisy fans, but with the fact that, on the contrary, they work poorly.
I'll explain in more detail:
At the moment the settings are:
1. optimal cooling
2. Static High Performance Mode
3. sata ahci (I don't use HP Smart Array B120i RAID)
when cpu utilization is 0%, the indicators are as follows: processor temperature in ilo 40 degrees, in Linux 30, fan speed 21%. But, when cpu utilization is 100%, the temperature starts to rise to 80 degrees, while the fans also work at 21% and accelerate only when it reaches 80 degrees (indicated in Linux as high) and maintains the speed at such a level so as not to overheat 80 degrees, but does not make it smaller.
It seems to me that the BIOS does not work in temperature control, and Linux only prevents critical overheating.
Also, the temperature in ilo and Linux differs by 25-30 degrees. Feels like Linux is right, because. The temperature is more like 80 degrees than 60.
I can try to change the temp1_max parameter in Linux, for example, to 60 degrees, then Linux will not allow heating to the specified temperature, but it seems to me that this is wrong, because such a solution does not exclude program failure.

Hi,

I would request you to test the server with the minimum hardware configuration and verify if the issue persist.
