Hello,

All HPE option parts are designed for and tested on the listed compatible servers. The card in question does not require any configuration in BIOS to make it work.

Ideally, it should work in any other system. Access the system's BIOS and check if it is detected therein. If so, then you may have troubleshoot for that system not booting. Refer to the manufacturer's documentation for more information about compatibility and troubleshooting the issue mentioned.

Regards,

Dear Support, I would like to know if HP Ethernet 1Gb 4-port 331T Adapter (Réf : 647594-B21) can be used with a standard computer (not a HPE ProLiant). Indeed, in this document, there is a list of servers compatibles with this card (https://cdn.cs.1worldsync.com/syndication/feeds/hp-ent/inline-content/SI/A/4/A4545D0964028E9533F03624135AB843C8F8E8D6_source.PDF), so my question. Indeed, I am trying to use this card on ARK-3532D (Advantech: https://advdownload.advantech.com/productfile/PIS/ARK-3532D/file/ARK-3532D_DS(111521)20211118110306.pdf) and MXC-6401D (from Adlink: https://www.adlinktech.com/Products/Download.ashx?type=MDownload&isDatasheet=yes&file=1601%5cMXC-6400_Series_datasheet-en_20180706.pdf), but both do not boot. I hear a long beep followed by 3 short beeps. So I don't know if this is a setting issue in the BIOS or a compatibilty is between standard computer and your HP Ethernet 1Gb 4-port 331T Adapter (Réf : 647594-B21) Thanks for your answer Best Regards Arnaud
