I have a question about the network adapter of the DL380 G10+ server - Broadcom BCM57416 Ethernet 10Gb 2-port BASE-T OCP3 Adapter for HPE (P10097-B21)

Will this adapter support 1Gb/s data rate

Hello,

Yes, the BCM57416 will auto-negotiate to 1Gb/s when plugged into a 1Gb switch port. I have the same card in my server.

My question..will it auto negotiate 2 gb network or...5 gb network? I have this card but it will not register my 2 gb network.

Hello,

The BCM57416 can only auto-negotiate 1 Gb or 10 Gb.
