Hello

I´m looking for a possibility to access to some HW closed health informations directly from a Application ruunning on the HP Server itself. As I understund the Redfish interface to iLO this is for remote access from anywhere, right? I need actuial temp, power, CPU Load, selftest results, ... from local running application. Try to build Functional Safety Application with has to diagnose as much as possible to detect HW Faults.

And I need a second independend ticker base to test my ms ticker...

Thank for a short tip, where I can find infos about that!

I´m talkin gabout HPE DL380 Gen10 Plus

Hello,

To access hardware health information from an application running on an HP DL380 Gen10 Plus server, you can utilize the Integrated Lights-Out (iLO) management interface provided by Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE). The iLO interface allows remote access to the server's hardware monitoring capabilities, including temperature, power, CPU load, and self-test results. While the primary purpose of iLO is remote access, you can also access the hardware information from a local running application on the server itself.

To get started, you can refer to the HPE iLO documentation and the Redfish API specification, which provides a standardized RESTful interface for server management. These resources will provide you with the necessary information and guidelines on how to access and retrieve hardware health information programmatically.

For testing your millisecond ticker, you can consider using a reliable and accurate time synchronization protocol like Network Time Protocol (NTP) or Precision Time Protocol (PTP). These protocols enable you to synchronize the time across multiple devices and can serve as a dependable tick base for your application's testing purposes.

I hope the information helps you.
