      <description>&lt;DIV&gt;hello, I have a 3-disks Raid 5 array, when I try to expand the array by the 4th disk, it crashes with the error "FATAL firmware error: Line 188 in fw/raid/utils.c&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;controller restart every 5sec.&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;firmware on MR408i-o - 52.26.3-5487&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;4th disk is sam as other and only one logical drive&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;solution?&lt;/DIV&gt;</description>

&lt;P dir="auto" style="margin: 0;"&gt;Any drive that you want to add must meet the following criteria:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P dir="auto" style="margin: 0;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P dir="auto" style="margin: 0;"&gt;=&amp;gt;It must be an unassigned drive.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P dir="auto" style="margin: 0;"&gt;=&amp;gt;It must be of the same type as existing drives in the array example, NVMe SSD, SAS HDD, SAS SSD, SATA HDD, or SATA SSD.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P dir="auto" style="margin: 0;"&gt;=&amp;gt;It must have a capacity no less than the capacity of the smallest drive in the array.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P dir="auto" style="margin: 0;"&gt;=&amp;gt;This operation uses the Modify Array option in the HPE MR Storage Administrator user interface. This feature is supported when there is a single logical drive configured in the array.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P dir="auto" style="margin: 0;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P dir="auto" style="margin: 0;"&gt;If the issue persists, please open a support case with HPE for further investigation including log analysis&lt;/P&gt;</description>
