Update BIOS to U32 v3.40 (01/16/2025) but System Programmable Logic Device still is 0x2A

The System Programmable Logic Device revision in this system does not meet minimum requirements for operation with HPE Persistent Memory. Current revision: 0x2A. event code :0x582

Hi @charles111222 ,
Please update the firmware of Sytem components including System ROM BIOS. You can use the SPP for system firmware update.
Are you installed DIMM or processor recently ? Please check the installed DIMMs (slots, maximum pMEM DIMMs, RDIMM/LRDIMM combination etc), refer this document page no. 8 and 21.

Note the following -
* HPE Persistent Memory only supported on 2 nd generation Intel Xeon Scalable Processor series (Platinum 8200, Gold 6200,
Gold 5200, Silver 4215 and 4215R)
* Maximum 12 Persistent memory DIMMs can be installed.
* Mixing of RDIMM and LRDIMM memory is not supported
