I want to discuss connecting the DL360 Gen 12 directly to the MSA 2070 SAS Dual Controller SFF Array System with direct attach SAS cables. I reviewed the DL360 Gen 12 datasheet, which doesn't mention an external storage controller. Could you confirm which external storage controllers are supported by the DL360 Gen 12? Specifically, can we use the 804398-B21 - HPE Smart Array E208e-p SR Gen10?

Yes, the HPE Smart Array E208e-p SR Gen10 (804398-B21) is supported in the DL360 Gen12 and is the recommended controller for direct SAS attachment to the MSA 2070 SAS Array.
