Hi,

I don;t know if i can help you out, but first of all you have to be more clear about the exact problem. What do you connect to port two and what do you mean with port 2? is it the connector on the opposite side of the switch? What firmware revision is the switch at?

Leon

It is a dual console switch box.
Currently it is using only a single console login. The other eight ports connect to misc servers. (The front Console port is not being used at this time). When using the OSD I can see equipment connected to all ports but port 2. Ports 1,3,4,5,6,7,8 are labeled A, and port 2 is B.
Is there a way to switch to B port.

Port 2 is now controlled by Port B. Go to the menu screen and set the switch into preemptive mode instead of cooperative mode.
This way any user console can control any computer at any time.

Leon
