    <description>The Administrator has left our org and we need to reset the console password. I know the factory default is OSCAR, but don't know how to reset. I have try holding down the reset button and powering on the unit but it didn't work. Any ideas???? &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;How can connect the serial and reset the KVM back to factory specs, includng password??</description>

      <description>Hi ISP,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I'm afraid you are going to have to call HP Support for this.  It involves generating a 16-digit device number from the console login screen and then someone from HP has to generate a temporary pass code.  Evidently, HP did not want unauthorized people to just learn how to do it and then reset it on their own.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Sorry I couldn't be more help,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Sean T.
