hi,

you can buy powerchute for hpux by APC. Its an extra product unfortunatly that doesnt come with the ups.
AP9005 was the APC part number for it

you may be able to kermit into the serial port to the status, not 100% never done it on an APC ups though.

Andy

Hello,
I tried to connect a UPS model APC 3000XL via rs232 to a rp7410 with hp-ux 11.11. Software, which comes with the ups, is power chute and runs only on win, linux, netware and solaris. So, I installed power manager 4.0 for hp-ux. Software works but ups is not recognized by power manager setup. Is there any chance to get this ups-box working with hp-ux?
