UPS setup

Hi Everyone,

I have installed a UPS for the computer room, so all the smaller UPS's i.e. power trust and ACP ups's are now disconnected. The new UPS comes with a lan connection for the shutdown signal, how can i configure my servers for this.

Hi,

You need an agent for HPUX for your UPS.

Ask your installer where you can download them.

When you say an agent, do you mean software that comes with the UPS that runs on HPUX.

Yes, you need the HPUX version of the software from the ups supplier.
