JD:

You did not specify an Operating System (OS) so I'm somewhat in the dark. Here's a for instance:

http://downloadfinder.intel.com/scripts-df/Detail_Desc.asp?agr=Y&Inst=Yes&ProductID=998&DwnldID=4233

is a link to the drivers for many of Intel's NIC products for WINXP, WIN2K, and WIN2K3.

If that's not what you need, simply go here:

http://downloadfinder.intel.com/scripts-df/support_intel.asp

and choose Networking and Communications on the left sidebar, the choose Ethernet Controllers, then the specific one you want most, then the OS you're most interested in and you should have what you want.

HTH

Make a great Day!

Roger

Hi Roger,

Thanks for your reply. sorry, to make you confuse..
Actually, we have all HP DL series servers... and we have autobuild server script. I want to install standard driver during my autobuild. After finishing with this build i am running postbuild in which i am applying all security patches, drivers, windows ciritical patche. my build is based on Windows 2000 / windows 2003.
In this scinario if i have universal driver then i don't need to worry about perticular driver for network card and don't need to change my script....
i found somewhere on the interenet it says Universal network driver but it's not free download. so, if you have any idea pls. let me know...

thanks for your help
jd
JD:

Sorry, I'm not aware of a universal NIC driver. If you look at this link, you'll see that the driver is appropriate to many Proliant DLnnn servers running WIN2K3, if that helps:

http://h18023.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/download/18880.html

Roger

JD:

One more thing! The people in the Proliant Server forum may be much more knowledgeable about the area of your question. Try posting there:

http://forums1.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/categoryhome.do?categoryId=264

Roger
