I am trying to create a DOS boot disk for my DL380 (G3) Server for imaging purposes. I am using the Q57 driver, but this does not seem to support 1000MB link. Is there a DOS network driver for the DL380 that will support 1GB link.

The problem was caused by PC-DOS, used MSDOS and MSCLIENT and Server booted and connected to network no problem.

Thanks for the info though.

Hi Lee,

Have you tried Bart's boot disks yet? Good support for nearly all DOS drivers/NICs in a modular format. Free, safe and GPL too!

http://www.nu2.nu/bootdisk/

I have used this to boot ML370 servers and deploy images. It'll take a little tinkering to get it just right, but it's worth it.

Colin

Has anyone come up with a boot disk for a new DL360 G4? I'm having trouble with it. Please let me know if anyone out there has been down this path. Thanks.
