No idea but what happens if you highlight EnablePMTUDiscovery in regedit then Edit Permissions and take away full control from the System and Network Service (may need to select Advanced and highlight each and Edit then uncheck the full control and the write and delete options)

Ron

Hi,

we have a DL380G4 with NC7782 Gigabit Server Adapters, controlled by HP Network Configuration Utility 7.

For a specific reason, I want to set the registry key HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameters\EnablePMTUDiscovery to a value of 1.
However, when doing so, after time this is switched back to 0. When deleting the key (which has the same effect), the key is created automatically.

Has anyone an idea which option inside HP NW Conf Utility set this key?

Many thanks!
Wim
