      <title>Serial using my LAN-port</title>

      <description>Hi Guru's!&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Ive got one of those fancy new laptops, with no serial port. I wonder if there is any Windows-software out there, that would let my laptop's NIC connect, with a serial cable, to what-ever-I-need, ie a unix-server console? &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The idea would be to have some sort of software running, and having a cable with RJ45 connected to my PC, and the other end being a std RS232-like thingie, connecting the latter to whatever needed console.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Is there software for that kind of thing out there?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanx in advance.</description>
