topic Solidworks on LAN in Networking

hello. actually, in my little LAN, i have 10 clients more or less.

we work on assemblies located in our server.

actually we have an assembled PC used as server on a virtual machine with Windows server 2003.

we have 1 gbps LAN and for opening the same file, it takes double time.

for example a client takes 20s for opening from server and 10s directly from itself.

clients are usually w7 x64 machines optimized for solidworks (more or less 1100€ each)

how can i improve the situation?

P.S.
