topic Remote Downlevel Document - Error Message in Networking

I have an HP Laserjet 3200 networked between 3 PC's each running on XP. No JetDirect Print Server is installed. The printer is connected only to my PC.

When I try to print from any of the 'guest' PC's, the print job leaves the guest PC and then becomes visible in the Printer job listing in my PC and I get the above print error message.

HP tell me that the printer has been properly installed but that the problem lies with Windows, yet I have an Epsom on one of the guest PC's that prints fine from any of the 3 PC's.

The only way that I can get the document to print is to reboot my PC (the one that the printer is attached to). Upon reboot, the printer then prints the document.

Any help / advice would be greatly appreciated.

is that shared on a dot4 port? if yes, you could try to add a driver/share with LPT1 instead.

Petr
