    <description>You are welcome tho I don't think you got it through the windowsupdate site.  You didn't have someone open one of those emails that claimed to come from Microsoft did you?  &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;It's a good idea to run Zone Alarm on one of your PCs with it set to bring up an alarm if it gets pinged or hit by anybody.       <description>Not real sure how we were infected by scvhost.exe, but think it came through a "Windows Update" download Oct. 25. Problems didn't occur til we re-booted on Nov. 6.&lt;BR /&gt;Non of our Virus software or our diagnsotic software were able to identify it.  Very frustrating&lt;BR /&gt;  Thanks for the solution.</description>
