Hi,

you would need to either manually or via some other way re-create the logical drives so that they are created exactly the same as before. (One for OS, one for data, presumably) You may be able to find out how this is done in quickspecs/user guide/service and maintenance guide.

Have you looked on http://software.hp.com for recovery media?

Yeah I think you need to re-create the arrays as they were / or use the recovery CD/DVD.

2x RAID0 at 30G will not do the trick..

Right. No on other of HP's storage servers you had to have a good sn/pn set in BIOS (I don't remember the exact place, asset text maybe?).

Found these:

https://h20392.www2.hp.com/portal/swdepot/displayProductInfo.do?productNumber=5697-7221a

https://h20392.www2.hp.com/portal/printable/swdepot/try.do?productNumber=5697-7221a

Does it say what version you have on the disc?

OK sry then I don't know anymore.

Maybe somebody else can assist with this. One thing that'd be nice trying would be to manually create the logical drives just the way the recovery DVD wants them to.

Maybe it's possible to find out by going through the QR DVD (I'd assume it's in some script somewhere, but maybe not). This sounds like something that'd take quite some time, which I don't have.
