      <title>User Authentication for NAS2000s</title>

      <description>Hi ,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;One of our customer has Active Directory(For authenticating Windows hosts) and NIS (For authenticating Unix hosts)&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The customer wants all this Unix and Windows host to first authenticate on either NIS or ADS before they can access files on HP NAS 2000s.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I think the NAS 2000s should authenticate against ADS but iam not too sure about NIS authentications!&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Can somebody shred some light on the User Authentication mechanism on NAS2000s or will the above two requirement be matched by HP NAS boxes?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks &amp;amp; Regards ,&lt;BR /&gt;Vipul</description>
