MySQL support on Linux with iSCSI

Dear Experts,

I have DL 380 Storage Server (NAS) with iSCSI feature pack. now i want to host mysql database running on Linux to iSCSI volume. is it supported? i am not able to find any information in iSCSI document. pls help. what i need to do to get it working.

Hi Satish,

MySQL is independent of the technology. It uses cooked OS files to store data and as such, so long as you have a valid usable file system, you should be able to put your MySQL data onto it.
