    <description>When you install Secure Path, you can enter a password, my guess is that you didn't enter a password or that the password is different from the password you are using in your Secure Path Manager profile.&lt;BR /&gt;You can change the password on the client with the Secure Path Agent Configuration Utility.</description>

      <title>Secure Path 4.0c  Authentication error</title>

      <description>I have successfully installed Secure Path 4.0c, but when I try to create a profile in Secure Path Manager, I receive an error message:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;"Authentication error with the following host(s):"&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;And my host is listed.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;There is a corresponding event in the application log:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Unauthorized attempt to access Secure Path Agent from IP xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Any help would greately be apriciated.</description>

      <description>Thanks Per Berg... that was exactly the problem.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I guess I should have said that the process I did was to install 3.x of secure path and then upgrade to 4.0c.  Because I never ran the 3.x version, I was never prompted for a password and I think that the 4.0c upgrade does not prompt for a password (but I'm not totally sure).  Anyway, all I had to do was run the SecurePathCFG program and set a password.... worked perfect after this.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks again</description>
