Environment: VA7400, FC8b, Win2000SP2, HBA8602

D8602 Was working with Version 3.0.4107.0 w2k driver(date 2001/2/20). After upgrading to v2.0.25.44 (date 2002/6/14), both LUN 0 & 8 are still showing in the device manager, but system log an event ID 32 from disk, "The driver detected that the device \Device\Harddisk2\DR2 has its write cache enabled. Data corruption may occur.", and LUN 8 can't be access. InitAsNport set to 1

Reverse the driver does not help the situation.
Need help!

The driver "upgrade" you installed is not supported. The only driver that is supported for the D8602B is 3.0.4107.0.

Re-installing the driver should fix the problem... but I see that hasn't gone well either... Hmm...

Have you de-installed the new driver completely, and then install the old driver? Windoze sometimes needs things cleaned out really well...

Good luck! Post back with your progress.
Hi ,
we're having lot of trouble recently with two WIN2K clusters.
HBA are d8602B storage is VA7400.

In the past we had some minor problem and HP SUpport provided us with the v2.0.25.44 stating that it was a more updated driver .

Now I'm quite worried hearing that it's not supported.

Can you clarify ?

Thanks
