topic fc cable issues in HPE EVA Storage

fc cable issues

dears,

I have issues for my hp server.this server used for media server that installed veritas netbackup on it.issues are when i reboot server, system can't be up when fc cable connected for tape library still connected to server.when i disconnected this cable, system can be up and run normally.
can you give me advice for this issue??

1. Is your tape library functioning properly.
2. If yes, check whether the software for tape library is installed properly on HP machine. This problem can be due to the deamon which senses all the FC devices..

Check these and you should be able to solve the problem.

Hi Yuli,

Please check whether cables are correct. If they are damaged and connected then these kind of problem you will get.

cables are correct. i have 2 hp servers that have same problem.for information, there is no problem in sun server.
can u help me, please!! what can i do to solve this problem??
