My experiences is the slot number in the GUI does not always correspond to the PCI slot number in the server so is mostly useless.

Thanks.

Can anyone tell me a way to determine which switch is being used for the active path in a Windows Secure Path environment? I want to use the Secure Path Manager gui - not port montoring or similar.

If I remember correctly (don't have a GUI available right now), you can see the controller serial numer and the adapter slot. With this information you also need to know how the fabric is cabled, as I am afraid you won't see the switch's name/WWN anywhere.
