Hi Mark,

you can install SecurePath Manager on this system. As Mark Poeschl says, it's a completely separate install. And you need SP2 for SecurePath Manager, as well,
ftp://ftp.compaq.com/pub/products/sanworks/securepath/spwinv40csp2mgr.zip otherwise the link for SPM does not show up on the system management homepage (under Other Agents).

Regards,
Stephen

Are you talking about the SP management CLI or the "real" SecurePath Manager? The CLI should be C:\Program Files\Compaq\SecurePath\SPMgr\spmgr.exe.

The "real" SecurePath Manager is a separate install and is typically NOT on the same server as is running SecurePath to access SAN disks. It's often installed on a SAN Management Appliance.

Thanks to both of you.
When I installed this last, there was a seperate management CD. This MSA1000 fit did not come with that management CD, so I found that link you showed above in the end and that resolved the problem.

Many Thanks

The CD with Secure Path Manager comes with the Secure path package - it is not part of the MSA1000.
