Hi,
We have 2 EVA 5000 and we wanted to have also redundancy on the Quorum disk. WIll this be possible? Can anyone provide some checklist/steps on what to ensure and how to do this?
Thanks,
Ron

For what use do you want the quorum disk redunancy?

Is a quorum disk for trucluster?
Is a quorum disk for OpenVMS?
Is a quorum disk for MS Cluster?
Are you talking about the LOG Disk of the Continuous Access?

In any case, the quorum disk can have redundancy, but, the minimal unit that can be created is 1GB, so is better that you use a VRAID5 for quorum disk for space, or for protection a VRAID1. Present the unit and use as a normal quorum disk.

Hi Ron,

U can very well create a redundancy for this disk.U will have to go for the option of Snapclone in the EVA thro the Command View.Probably U can select a Raid 5 or Raid 0 depending on the criticality and space availability in the server.DOnt present this volume to any of the hosts attached.Later in case os some problem U can assign this Lun to the hosts.

Regards
S.Arunkumar
