Secure Path Version

Hi,

spmgr version has produces the following:

Spr version; 4.5.0.6
Agent version: 4.0.18
Driver Version 3.7.240

Checked the release notes and install guides and can't see any table to match this information to a specific version of Secure Path.

Anyone any details on this?

I'm collecting this information remotely (asking someone else to perform the commands on the phone), which makes this a bit more difficult - I asked them to check add/remove programs and they've stated that SP is not detailed there...

Yeah - I doubt you're going to find version details like that in any of the documentation. If you're not sure of what version of SP those modules correspond to I suspect you'll need to open a support call with HP. I can tell you that for the latest version of Windows SecurePath (4.0c SP2) the 'spmgr version' output shows:

spmgr version: 4.7.1.1
Agent version: 4.0.0
Driver version: 3.7.540

With my installation I also see "HP Storageworks Secure Path" as an entry in Add/Remove Programs.

Are you having specific problems or just wanting to verify where you are?

Thanks for the reply.

There are some issues and I'm trying to verify the configuration.

Though it's a little difficult to do this remotely over the phone. I thought that there was an entry in Add/Remove Progs, but I had no system here to confirm it. I've been told there isn't anything listed on this system, but I think the person checking it is probably at fault.
