Hi Ahmed,

As Uwe mentions, purchase of EVAs entitle you to get HP Services to perform EVA VCS,disk firmware & SMA upgrades. Having said that, depending on your abilities to perform the procedure, sometimes your local HP office can provide you with the required media kits such as VCS, disk firmware superfile, etc to do it yourself.

Also, a number of pre-requisties such as OS version, service packs, secure path versions, etc need to be met and thoroughly planned prior such a major upgrade.

I will highly recommend that you log a call with HP "requesting an EVA upgrade" and they should sort out the complete procedure for you.

If you are just curious and want to read the procedure, please download the updating product software V3.028 document from the following url:
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/DocumentIndex.jsp?contentType=SupportManual&docIndexId=3124&locale=en_US&prodTypeId=12169&prodSeriesId=321347

Also, please consider assigning points to the responses you receive on this forum. It keeps the forum spirit healthy - you have not assigned points to 38 responses that you have received here!

Hope, it helps.

Saket.
