Hi,
when I try to kill a process it dont dead.
The process is these:
root 2252 1 0 Jan 31 ? 25:09 coda -redirect

I have try to kill whit ndd any socket...but without result.

Do you have an Idea...?

# kill -9 2252

# kill 2252 --- should work.
if not add -1 option

# kill -1 2252
evenafter the process still exist, then lastly try with -9 option
# kill -9 2252

to kill the any background job, use job id, in place of process id.
# kill job_id
