There is an issue with using Win2K SP3 and SecurePath and MSA1000. Please see the Customer Advisory (link below) for further information.

http://wwss1pro.compaq.com/support/reference_library/viewdocument.asp?countrycode=1000&prodid=117&source=OI021115_CW01.xml&dt=3&docid=13122

For the MSA1000, this problem has been fixed, however, I'm still waiting for the RA4100 fix (I'm facing this issue myself). The Advisory will have all the "version number" information that you require to run your configuration successfully.

Regards.

The error "securepath installed in host is not an API version 7/6/5 compatabile" occurs because you are trying to lanch securepath v4 via the Secure path manager that was used by Ver 3. securepath 4 uses a broswer interface and you must have java loaded on the machine that uyou are using for SP access.
On you browser type http:\\localhost:2301

Hopefully this will help.

Shaun
