I have chosen the Cisco solutions and have come up with a BOM for 8 channels:<BR /><BR />CWDM-Chassis-2 (2), CWDM-MUX8A (2), CWDM-8GBIC-SET1 (set of four pairs of Cisco 1000BASE-CWDM GBICs 2 grey, blue, yellow, red), CWDM-8GBIC-SET2 (Set of four pairs of Cisco 1000BASE-CWDM GBICs 2 violet, green, orange, brown), CWDM-SFP-1470, CWDM-SFP-1490 (for the two fabrics) and cables for connections. I have also bought Extended fabric license on each of the switches<BR /><BR /><BR />I have 2 EVA 5000 subsystems and 4 4/32 SAN switches (2 for each fabric). CA is running. <BR />Two of the channels will be used for the SAN extension, while the remaining 6 channels is planned for other uses.<BR /><BR />What are the things I should look out for?<BR />Are the SFPs and GBICS alright?
