topic CWDM Implementation. in HPE EVA Storage

Hi,
I'm just about to implement CWDM over dark fiber to extend my SAN with 2 fabrics to a distance of about 32km away. I have chosen the Cisco solutions and have come up with a BOM for 8 channels:

CWDM-Chassis-2 (2), CWDM-MUX8A (2), CWDM-8GBIC-SET1 (set of four pairs of Cisco 1000BASE-CWDM GBICs 2 grey, blue, yellow, red), CWDM-8GBIC-SET2 (Set of four pairs of Cisco 1000BASE-CWDM GBICs 2 violet, green, orange, brown), CWDM-SFP-1470, CWDM-SFP-1490 (for the two fabrics) and cables for connections. I have also bought Extended fabric license on each of the switches

I have 2 EVA 5000 subsystems and 4 4/32 SAN switches (2 for each fabric). CA is running.
Two of the channels will be used for the SAN extension, while the remaining 6 channels is planned for other uses.

What are the things I should look out for?
Are the SFPs and GBICS alright? I tried to get a compatibility matrix but didn’t get any?
Any issues with firmware?
Can I get 2 GB on each link?
Are there issues with CA when implementing CWDM?

From the documentation of the CWDM, it looks very simple to implement since they are passive devices, but just being on the cautious side…
Lanre
