    <description>Dear elharti:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;What I can determine from internet research is related to SNMP / OpenView calls from Command View.&lt;BR /&gt;However, This error seems to be a generic WINDOWS error that shows up most often with failing RPC agents.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Here's a fairly good thread.       <description>Hallo&lt;BR /&gt;we want perform a test with a new EVA 4000,so we have to install HP Command view v6 in the proliant  with windows 2003 storage server.&lt;BR /&gt;the procedure followed is :&lt;BR /&gt;-installation of Emulex fc card in the proliant&lt;BR /&gt;-installation of driver Emulex last version&lt;BR /&gt;-update of Emulex firmware&lt;BR /&gt;-Installation of Secure PATH sp1&lt;BR /&gt;-installation of HP Command view suite&lt;BR /&gt;The problem is that the service Command view cannot start. Error message :&lt;BR /&gt;Error 1067:the process terminated unexpectedly&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;we want to know what could be done to resolve this problem.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Best regards.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>I think the error 1067 is just windows saying that a service terminated unexpectedly.  I doesn't say why it terminated.  I would look for some error logs in the directory where commandview is installed. and also the event logs&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Commandview might be trying to bind to a TCP port that is already in use.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Also, you list updating the emulex drivers. Make sure you use the Driver update package downloaded for HP.  I've had problems connecting commandview to an EVA using the generic FC drivers.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I would also use the free MPIO software (download from HP) instead of secure path.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
