MSA1000 error code

we are setting up a used MSA1000 and got
the following error code on boot up:
critical error 03 – critical lockup detected code =fc03h

can anyone help?

exactly what I needed!
according to manual:

A critical error has been
detected by the array
controller firmware. To
prevent any possible
data loss, the firmware
has entered a lock-up
state. The provided code
contains engineering
specific information about
the lock-up condition.

Hello,

which firmware version are you running?
Does one of the disks have a red light on?

There was an older firmware version where the MSA1000 would lockup on powerup if a non initialised disk was present in the MSA1000. Once it is initialised there is no problem.

If a brand new disk is installed and the firmware version is wrong you get such errors.
