SAN problem

Hi,

We had problem with one HDD of SAN. We have 30 HDD in san. After changing the HDD its status shows that the disk is ready. but the total array status has warning. It says that "redundency Loss" and "missing drive". and stats shows rebuild i9n progress.

when the warning will go off after rebuilding.

Rebuilding will take time depending on the Disk size and the hardware. Once it is complete the error mesg. should go off.

What kind of storage is it??

The array is stating that it currently does not have redundancy, because the new disk is not yet done being rebuilt. If the disk shows as ready and is included, just wait for the rebuild to finish and you will have redundancy yet again. Depending on disk size, this can take a little while.

If all your disks show as ready and all are included, just wait and you'll be fine as soon as all the data is copied to the new disk. Basically your array is working as it should, and will resolve this problem by itself.

It should be so well.... but warning 'missing drive' confuses me. Need logs ASAP to check (see your other post)

The storage setup in redundancy pripority will be low.
and this mean redundancy data is rebuild when low disk I/O.
In some autoraid disk is setup like this.
If you spend a day then this messages will disapper
