Hello everyone,
I've been trying to find out what is going on and so far the only "advanced" is that if I don't connect the MSA30 at startup the system comes up just fine and the SMU is fully accessible, while when I have the MSA30 connected at startup the SMU is unavailable.
Hello,
We just got an MSA1510i and a MSA30, its running the firmware version 1.32 and right after the startup I get this message: Crtical Lock-up detected. Code=fc03h and a red led on the warning light's up.
I've done some research on the forums and on the net and there is no reference that I was able to find to this error code and I was wondering if you might help me out.

hi,

the only thing i could find was this, probably best giving hp a call unless you've got a spare shelf/cable to test with :-

03 CRITICAL LOCK-UP
DETECTED. CODE=<N>
Error A critical error has been
detected by the array
controller firmware. To
prevent any possible
data loss, the firmware
has entered a lock-up
state. The provided code
contains engineering
specific information about
the lock-up condition.
In dual-controller
configurations where only
one controller is locked-up,
remove the array controller in
question, wait 10 seconds,
and then reinsert it ensuring
that it is fully seated in the
chassis.
In single-controller
configurations and in
dual-controller configurations
where both controllers are
locked-up, restart the MSA
chassis.
Should the issue persist,
contact HP support.

good luck, hope this helps

</N>
