      <description>Hi, that is indicating the failure of a SATA or SAS disk on that server.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;It is on a controller on Slot 1, port 1 internal, bay 8.</description>

      <description>Since the server has Windows, use ACU to check the status of the controllers and disks, or enter System Management Homepage.&lt;BR /&gt;Or run an ADU report and attach it here.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;All these utilities are installed by default by the HP Proliant Support Pack.</description>

      <description>Had some trouble downloading the file from the forum.&lt;BR /&gt;Now that I have the ADUReport.xml, I only see information about a Smart Array 5i in slot 0, with 2 x 72GB U320 10K disks.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Are yu sure this ADU was ran on the correct server?</description>

      <description>Of course, replace disk 8 on that server.&lt;BR /&gt;As you can see it's connected to the SmartArray P400 controller.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The disk is failed, and we cannot see model, but it's probably a 36 GB like the others. Call someone that can verify that directly on the server.</description>

      <description>ok, My doubt is on EVA I cannot see any disk failures. how you found the disk 8 is failed on it, and I beleive any disk failures will show on storage.&lt;BR /&gt;If this is not whether its a early warning for us.</description>

      <description>This is not on a EVA. The disk is SAS and it's connected to a Smart Array P400 on the server.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Dou you know what's the model of the server?&lt;BR /&gt;With a P400 and 8 SAS bays, could be a DL380 G5 or a ML370 G5 for example.</description>
