I have configured MSA2012i dual controllers as the following:
Controller A P 0 with ip 172.20.10.1 to switch A
Controller A P 1 with ip 172.20.11.1 to switch B
Controller b P 0 with ip 172.20.10.2 to switch A
Controller b P 1 with ip 172.20.11.2 to switch B
and i made vdisk and i set the owner for this vdisk for controller A and while iam testing this multipath configurations i noticed that when i pull out network cables from controller A the second controller takes no actions and the volumes becomes offline, so how can i solve the problem, i read many articles about the same problem with msa2012i (http://forums11.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/bizsupport/questionanswer.do?threadId=1251003) so can you plz help me to solve this problem?
(i want controller b to take the ownership for Vdisks which owned by controller A in case of controller a fails )

Pulling both cables from controller A is not defined as a failure of this controller so there will be no failover.

You might try to shutdown A or reassign the vdisk to B to test the multipath setup. I am afraid you just have to trust that this works in case of a real failure of controller A.
