      <description>hello all&lt;BR /&gt;i have 1 eva4100 and full(2c4d).i have one DL 380 g5 and operating system is win 2003EP edition sp1.&lt;BR /&gt;i add one space whit capacity 50gb and add to DL 380 g5.when to see disk manager i see 4 space 50gb.i don't use the MPIO Eva.&lt;BR /&gt;question:&lt;BR /&gt;when i copy 20gb in this space only one disk free space is 30gb and 3 space extant free space is 50gb.why?&lt;BR /&gt;tanks for best help.</description>

      <description>Hello,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;you NEED MPIO to manage the other paths. What you see is the same disks, but over the other three standby paths. What you observed is nothing to worry about. Windows doesn't check the free space on the standby paths.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I strongly recommend that you should install MPIO for the EVA. In case of a path failure you IO will drop. With MPIO a path failure can occur without losing data.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Best regards,&lt;BR /&gt;Patrick</description>

      <description>as they said you should install mpio asap, there is no problem with what you are see&lt;BR /&gt;also put in mind that you need to restart the server after installing the mpio</description>
