i dont see anyway to debug this... as Uwe said you can try to reinstall the product...

If you want to avoid that you can get a case logged with HP and ask them to provide you temp license for 60 days..

The instant-on license permits full-use of the product. However, I've seen in one or two cases that the license did not activate for some reason. It did not bother me, because I had valid licenses so I don't know if there is a workaround other than a fresh installation of the server.

If you had a previous version of Command View installed on that server, the instant-on license will not be valid.

You need a REAL CV license for an EVA5000 and the amount of TB you have in it. If the previous version was 6.0 or older you need to request the license on the new format.

You are not evaluating the product. You are trying to work around the licensing.

It is not sufficient to do the initial setup of the EVA with a demo license. Like it or not, but you need a permanent CV-EVA license.

What do you intend do do when a disk drive has failed?
You cannot add the replacement without a valid license!

rlehoux,
Before you installed CV9.1 what were you using to manage the EVA?.
If this is a new install then you will have to buy the licence as already stated. However if this is an older installation and you had been using a version of CV < 7.0 then I would suggest you return to using that older version as it does not require the updated licencing.

The 60-day evaluation license only works if it's the first installation of Command View on that server.

You can install Command View on another server and you'll have the instant-on license.
